SEM and PPC are both advertisements, the former is a form of paid SEO while the latter paid. PPC is a fast search result as compared to SEM or SEO. PPC is expensive since it is paid while SEM or SEO is not (since there is an organic search result), and lastly, PPC is temporary since it is paid, while SEO or SEM is durable since SEO result is based on website’s ranking.
